Ok, it's a fish-tank. I thought you just found this laying around and was about to pull my hair out saying "HOW?!?"

He probablly didn't find it lying around because it's not a photo, it's a painting as it appears

I know right. I had second thoughts about it too, but in the description it says it's made with acrylics and it's also submitted as a painting
Really amazing, to say the least

To clarify, as I don't know if you know this, the artist actually paints 3d-looking things on layers of resin in stuff.
So, the stick and the leaf are probably clay or some other sort of sculpture, and then he poured some resin in
the leaf, it dried, he painted a little bit of the fish, poured a bit more of the resin, painted more of the fish, and so on.

So what you see here is a picture of the painting/sculpture thing outside on concrete. It's not just a flat painting.
You can tell better in pieces like this: fav.me/d51rjif It's a really interesting technique and I don't fully understand
it myself, I just wanted to help you guys get the idea. :>

The leaf and the stick are probably just that ... A leaf and a stick that he transformed in to a 'fish bowl' with his resin and acrylic skills.

Oh I see. I wasn't sure if they could be preserved like that.

Yes he's making use of a technique he saw in Riusuke Fukahori's Goldfish Salvation gallery.

I want to say the stick and leaf may be the actual items though; it looks partially decayed and there's what looks like some resin or glue holding the two ends together near the end.

This is a really nice concept. Quite different from the usual "fish in water bodies" you see around here and there.

wow.. as usual.  How big is that leaf.  Like in reference to something like a tea cup?  Either way, it's amazing
