Sorry. The truth is I have nothing to sell now. Most of the pieces were gone.
Now I need to start painting again.
You might have to wait a little longer for the new series.
I've just started a page on facebook- Keng Lye
exclusively for the resin works and updates

My facebook page www.facebook.com/pages/Keng-Ly…

Thank you for your patience! I"ll see you there!

Your artwork has inspired me to try little bottle cap fish!
I only have a wip right now of the first test I'm making, I also mentioned you in the description as for inspiration!

Your art is amazing!!
i have a question, are your acrylic/resin artwork just a painting (a flat board with the paint) or is it layers of resin (plastic) made together?? I'm very curious about this :)

in one of the descriptions, it is mentioned that it's layers of resin - i'm not sure I understand what that means.  I want to say he makes this stuff in 3D and then paints over it.  Then a short depth of field shot would account the blurry chopsticks and porcelain water container in the octopus photo but in all honesty, I'm not totally sure what it all means.

Well I researched a bit and found out its first a thick layer of resin poured into the container and then you paint the lowest layer (if fish, then it would be the fins) and then another layer of resin and then paint. And so on until you have layers of paint on the resin :)

So the "trompe l'oiel" is legit.  I wasn't sure if the octopus work looked like an octopus because it was painted *that* well, or if it was a resin model painted with realistic colors.

I'm also wondering what the actual size is.

But thank you for the info!
